I found an article online that said over 50% of women own high 10 or more pairs of high heels. Ten pairs of JUST heels! That's a lot. At least to me. I only own five pairs of shoes total, and they all have a specific purpose. I'm interested to see the difference between men and women on this one. So I made it the Topic of the Day on my Facebook page: How many pairs of shoes do you own?

So as you might remember, I watched "The Voice" season premiere on NBC last night (Sept. 24). I also live-tweeted it as it went along with my reactions to different parts of it.  It was fun, but I gotta admit, I was feeling a little cynical about the whole affair.

Yesterday we talked a little about how some people were responding to what Zac Brown said the other day about the new Luke Bryan song.

I'm sure you heard the controversial statements made by Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band the other day. He had some harsh words for a big country hit right now, and for a few other trends going on in the charts. During an interview with a radio station, the topic turned to some of the current country hit songs, Luke Bryan's "My Kind of Night" in particular.

Crews are working on three very visible projects going in Sedalia at this time that are all due to be completed by the end of the year. Which of these projects are you most excited about?

I will always be a die-hard Detroit Lions fan. However, since I've moved only an hour away from Kansas City, I've decided to make the Chiefs my new adopted favorite team. I know they're not the best team in the league, but I really like everything about them so far. However, there's one thing I really am not a fan of when it comes to the Chiefs: Their "Pump Up" song.

So we all know technology changes constantly. What might have been a commonly used every day item could be gone in a second (pagers, anyone?). Telephone landlines are on a steep decline with the rise of cell phones, and I think TV could be headed in that direction as well.
