The 2013 CMT Music Awards nominees have been announced, and two of country music's hottest men -- Luke Bryan and Eric Church -- lead the way with four nominations each. Miranda Lambert also tallied four nods, three as a solo artist and one as part of all-female trio Pistol Annies.
Country music took center stage on CBS Wednesday night (Dec. 5), where the 2013 Grammy nominees were announced during a fun-filled hour of music. Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson picked up early nominations, and Swift joined rapper LL Cool J as host of the Grammy nominations concert. After just a few minutes of the broadcast, Dierks Bentley and the Band Perry were performing Johnny Cash songs for viewers.

The Pink Flamingo Award, which has been honoring individuals in West Central Missouri for their community giving, philanthropic spirit, kindness, generosity, character and leadership for the past six years, has become a part and tradition of the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri’s annual fundraising auction, 'An Evening of Heart and Hope.'
Country music doesn’t only live within the United States. The official countdown for the Canadian Country Music Association Awards is on,with the Canadian Country Music Association announcing the nominees this week. The awards show will take place at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon on Sept. 9 at 8PM ET.
