By now I'm sure you've heard all about our huge 105 Pounds of Cash Giveaway. It's pretty exciting, and we'll have plenty of other chances for you to head out and make a guess. The first day of our giveaway out at Advantage Metals Recycling was a big success!

This weekend is going to be a busy one. I know there are a lot of different events going on, but before you get your fun going, don't forget to take care of the home front. You can do that and you can save lots of money by going out to our live broadcast at Menard's for their Menard Day Sale.

I don't know about you guys, but these days I've been more and more careful with my money.  It has to go further and do more because, frankly, I have less of it to go around.  I think everyone can understand where I'm coming from on that one.  With gas prices and rising food costs, plus all the other expenses, we could all use a little more scratch.

On Monday (Aug. 5), our new guy Rob and I got to head on over to Liberty Pool.  The Sedalia Pools were working with the Central and Northwestern Food Banks to raise money for the Buddy Pack program.

This past weekend, I got to head on out to Menard's again for their latest sale. This time it was a big rebate sale!

The American Red Cross, the St. Louis Cardinals and all of us here at the station are asking Sedalia to Step Up To the Plate!

This last Friday, I got the chance to head out to Menard's for their latest sale! They are totally ready to help you with any summer upgrades.

Kids, I know that a lot of us around here love us some barbecue. It's just part of our Missouri nature. We love it. We all know friends or family who claims to be the best of the best. The most dedicated of their ranks came down to the Smithton Fair on Saturday for the big barbecue at the city park.

The Hair Salon and Spa had us over for a live broadcast on Tuesday (July 2)  for the Customer Appreciation Day, and they certainly went all out for the folks of Sedalia! They've been working with Redken to bring a great contest to town.  Working with their Diamond Trio Oil line, they gave away a diamond ring with a set of earrings to match!
