Dale Malone, owner of Dukes & Boots in Sedalia, recently raised $1500 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri through a fundraiser held on Black Friday (Nov. 23).
As usual, a good time was had by all at the first Halloween celebration at Dukes & Boots. Over $500 in cash and prizes was awarded to participants in the costume contest. Part two is Halloween night with a $500 cash to the best costume. Here are some pics. Comment on them and share them!
It has been six years since the Bruce in the Morning Show went on the air at KIX 105.7. A lot has happened since then. I've met a lot of great people and built some lasting friendships. I've also built some great business relationships. One of the people that can say he's both is Dale Malone.
Dale opened Malone's on Main in Sedalia around the same time I got to town. We quickly formed a promotional partnership that turned into friendship. That partnership continued when Malone's became Rumour's and is still going strong at Daisy Dukes & Cowboy Boots.

Kids, this weekend was a busy one. We had two nights out at the Mark Twain Apartments Fundraiser out at Dukes and Boots.
Dukes & Boots is having a fundraiser to benefit the families that were displaced from the Mark Twain apartments tonight and tomorrow night (July 27 and July 28). There will be a $5 cover at the door. There will be other activities throughout the evening as well. All money will be given to the American Red Cross and earmarked for disbursement to this tragedy only.
Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots is now collecting items to aid the folks that woke up last Thursday morning without even a change of clothes. To quote Dale Malone "We ask for furniture, kitchen items, clothing toys, pet food, home goods, towels etc... gift cards are great too!"
