Every country music fans knows there's one thing Miranda Lambert can't resist: Dogs in need. Their size and breed doesn't matter -- she's taken in anything from bloodhounds to puppies in ditches -- and now, she's brought home another one, this time at the request of a 6-year-old fan.
According to Sedalia Police Commander Larry Ward, the police department will be receiving two new dogs for the K-9 Unit. Ward said the money has come through the efforts of drug enforcement in the area and at the expense of those who traffic in illegal drugs.
Rumors have been running rampant about whether or not Miranda Lambert and her hubby Blake Shelton are ready to have a baby. But the idea of adding a human baby to her pack of adopted pups hasn't stopped the sassy country singer from helping stray animals find good homes.
