If you thought you heard a huge noise from the direction of Nashville last week, don't be concerned -- it was probably just coming from a giant party at Tim McGraw's house. The United States Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal from Curb Records last week in an ongoing legal war with their former star, effectively bringing the case to an end after years of legal wrangling.

'Tim McGraw and Friends' -- a new compilation album put together by the singer's former record label partner Curb Records -- will feature 11 fan-favorite collaborations from a 21-year career. 'Twisted,' a duet with Colt Ford, has been announced as the album's single, but fans can look for other pairings with Lionel Richie, Randy Travis, Tony Bennett and Faith Hill when the compilation is released on Jan. 22, exclusively at Walmart.

It wasn't a major victory, but Friday's (Sept. 21) decision by a Nashville judge definitely favors Tim McGraw and his current record label, Big Machine Records. The ongoing battle between the singer and his former label home, Curb Records, will now move to an appeals court, where it's possible Big Machine may still have to turn over sensitive documents.
