Unfortunately for us here in Sedalia/Warrensburg, those shows don't often come right to our backyard like they do in St. Louis or Kansas City. That means road-tripping for shows.

The country superstar didn't just route his farewell tour to the biggest ticket-selling markets; he says he chose each city very carefully because of some personal connection.
Last week, the FBI announced that violent crime dropped four percent in 2011, compared to a 5.5 percent drop in 2010.
However, according to a 24/7 Wall St. review of 2011 FBI crime statistics, violent crime is on the rise in places that already have the highest rates for it in the country — both murder and burglary have gone up.
It’s no secret that Anchorage, AL is a cold place — so much so that residents often wear layer upon layer of clothing. But all that warmth comes at a price: Anchorage has just been named the city with the worst-dressed people in the US.
