If you bought something from Amazon this holiday season, watch out!

The Sedalia Symphony Society's Christmas POPS Concert is Monday, December 5 at the Celebration Center in Sedalia.

Grant Morrison and Dan Mora's Klaus was my favorite comic book story of the year. The reimagining of Santa Claus as a superhero with an origin story that was equal parts Rankin-Bass and Batman RIP is probably the platonic ideal of what I want out of entertainment, and after reading the entire first series, I really just wanted more. Now, I'm getting my Christmas wish: on December 21, Klaus returns in Klaus and the Witch of Winter, an extra-sized one-shot in which Morrison and Mora bring Santa to the modern world and go beyond his origin story for an all-new adventure. ComicsAlliance spoke to Morrison about his feelings about Santa Claus, why the series is like his personal Doctor Who, and why Santa Claus is real. Because of course Santa Claus is real.

Sedalia's Christmas Parade will be on Saturday, December 3. There is still time to register to participate in this annual tradition.

As many of us are preparing this week to celebrate the Christmas holiday, we are decorating Christmas trees with various pretty things, buying presents for our friends and family, and baking and preparing enough food to feed an invading army twice over.

Everyone knows that spending time with family and friends is the very best part of the holiday season. That's a given. But let's face it, there are a whole lot of elements that contribute to making Christmas merry. I'm sure a lot of you are getting ready for some tasty treats today.  There may be a few jokes about fruitcake.  Maybe people DON'T hate fruitcake as much as you think.  In a new survey of people's favorite Christmas desserts, fruitcake only finished behind cookies and eggnog.  It beat out candy canes and gingerbread.

There are so many Christmas movies out there . . . but there are 20 that you may not have seen.  Because according to BuzzFeed.com, they're the Most Underrated Christmas Movies.

Everyone is getting into the holiday spirit.  Vehicles are adorned with ribbons and wreaths, people are wearing flashing reindeer necklaces, and kids are on their best behavior. Just remember those that maybe don't have someone to spend the holidays with this year...
