Back when Disney paid $3 billion to purchase Lucasfilm, most focused on what they could and would do with the 'Star Wars' franchise. But, let's not forget about that other big Lucasfilm franchise: Indiana Jones. If Disney's dropping stacks on stacks for Lucasfilm, you better believe they're going to want their money's worth, and that includes a new series of Indiana Jones movies. Case in point: Disney has reportedly ready to focus on a reboot of the popular character and want 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star Chris Pratt to take over the whip from Harrison Ford.

Your Christmas gift from ‘Jurassic World’ has arrived early. Previously, the first trailer for the upcoming sequel had teased a moment near the end in which Chris Pratt’s character appeared to be teaming up with the super lethal velociraptors to take down the super-smart hybrid dinosaur wreaking havoc in the world’s most ill-advised theme park. And now director Colin Trevorrow has revealed this pretty rad new photo of Pratt hanging tough with one of his raptor pals.

The future of ‘Parks and Recreation’ looks especially grim, but only by the fact that 2015 will bring us the last 13 episodes ever, rather than the spiffy-looking 2017 the characters seem to be enjoying. Drones drop off our packages, Chris Pratt has his own TV show, and more await in the first trailer for the final season of NBC’s ‘Parks and Recreation!’

The current plan for the next ‘Ghostbusters’ film is the all-female reboot, which will be directed by Paul Feig (‘Bridesmaids’). We’ve heard that Feig has spoke with Jennifer Lawrence (who would make a great Venkman, BTW), Emma Stone and Rebel Wilson about parts in the film and it seems like a very exciting cast is coming together. So…what’s this talk of Channing Tatum, Chris Pratt and Ryan Gosling wanting to star in a ‘Ghostbusters’ movie?

“You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea.” And, there’s the ‘Jurassic Park 4’ trailer summed up for you in pretty much one exchange. While the previous ‘Jurassic Park’ films dealt with the folly of John Hammond’s original plans for the park, this new film imagines a world where Jurassic Park is now up and running. The kinks have been worked out. Raptors are trained. But, people are still people and that means they do really stupid things. A few days ago, the YouTube page for Universal Spain posted memorable footage of the cup of water vibrating from ‘Jurassic Park’ as a teaser for ‘Jurassic World,’ which seemed pretty curious. But today brings our first official footage from ‘Jurassic World’ in the form of a far more awesome teaser for the trailer, which will hit the web on Thanksgiving day. If that’s not something to be thankful for, what is?

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ is the biggest movie of 2014. It’s made over $750 million worldwide. Kids love it. Adults love it. Grandparents even love it. Lots of people (us included!) have seen the movie multiple times, but do you know everything there is to know about Marvel’s latest superhero phenomenon? They're the frickin Guardians of the Galaxy!

Everyone loves him. He’s got an amazing future in front of him and everyone anxiously awaits word on what his next project will be. Another mega-franchise? A high-profile drama? Wait, what’s that? He’s going to be starring in a movie called ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’? Huh.

The whole Marvel Cinematic Universe is based around the fact that the strongest power in the universe are these magical Infinity Stones, gems of incredible power over time and space. When Ronan the Accuser combines an Infinity Stone with his hammer in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ he becomes nigh-invulnerable and almost unbeatable. The only things left to stop him from destroying the universe are the Guardians… and dance moves. Sweet hot funky dance moves.

On second thought, perhaps that last part is a clue that Masrani Global doesn’t exist, except as a fictional company in the story of ‘Jurassic World,’ next summer’s sequel to Steven Spielberg’s ’90s dinosaur classic.
