Hey there, web reader! I know you don't know my job because I do it and not you, but I work on the air here at our broadcasting company.  But I don't just do that - I also do all of the local community calendar listings.  You know, if your church has a bake sale or something, I'm the one who announces it.  Well, the first part of the year is pretty dry for events like that.

Last weekend (Feb 1 and 2) the 2014 Cabin Fever Sports show took place with a lot of cool stuff and a lot of fun for the whole family. Despite the road conditions, crowds still came out to explore all the neat vendors and activities.

Here's a look at what's going on this weekend!

We have two great events coming up in February with a TON of cool stuff to do: The Cabin Fever Sports Show on Feb 1 and 2, and the Stupid Cupid Party at Friendly's Tavern Feb 15. Both these events are going to be loaded with fun activities, and one of the things you can do at both events is get a tarot card reading from Christina's Gypsy Caravan.

The Cabin Fever Sport Show sponsored by Angler’s Port Marine and Rustic Creek Outfitters is coming back to the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds on Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Feb 2 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Wow, what a weekend!  The 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show last weekend was awesome.  Thanks a lot to all of the vendors who participated, and a special thanks to you, the attendees.  We had double the attendance as the previous year, and we collected 272 pounds of food for the food pantry.  What a great way to have some fun and do some good at the same time.

We had a great time at the 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show held at the Missouri State Fairgrounds last weekend (Feb. 2-3).  Attendees enjoyed the Pop Up 3D Archery Shoot, participated in our "Shake It for Luke Bryan" contest, hung out with actor Marshall Teague and and shopped around at the vendor booths throughout the Mathewson Center.  The event also collected 272 pounds of canned goods f

Here are the goings on in our area this weekend!

The Cabin Fever Sports Show will host over 65 different booths from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 2 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb.3 at the Mathew Exhibition Center on the State Fairgrounds.  The show will have booths, contest, door prizes, and raffle prizes to entertain the whole family.

The Cabin Fever Sport Show is this weekend, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m at the Mathew Exhibition Center on the State Fairgrounds. This year's show will welcome celebrity guest Marshall Teague.
