Bruce in The Morning

The most common question that I have heard in the last few weeks isn't about my bracket picks, but instead, "Who will replace the Bruce In the Morning Show on Better Country KIX 105?"

It seems like yesterday that I arrived in Sedalia, but it was 6 1/2 years ago. The Bruce in the Morning Show went on the air at KIX 105.7 on September 18, 2006.

It is a tradition at the radio station to commemorate each employee's birthday with a cake.  Each cake is decorated to reflect the personality of the individual having their special day.  This year, the staff decided on a "Caddyshack" theme for my cake.  That's a perfect theme for me.  Plus an opportunity to quote the movie in the break room as we all fill our faces.

I am and intensely curious person.  When there's tons of hype over something, I have to see what it is all about.  I read '50 Shades of Grey' and now I've watch 'Magic Mike'.  Yet again, I found myself wondering what all the hype was about.

My friend and talented performer Candy Coburn got up way early (for a musician anyway) to visit the studio.  She answers the question about her tattoos and sings.  The audio is below.

I took the time out of my life to read "50 Shades of Grey" and I can sum up this massively popular novel in two words.  IT SUCKS!
