Sedalia Art Show to Boast Ten Artists and Sixty-Four Pieces

A group artist show is scheduled for Friday, October 5 at the Liberty Center in Sedalia from 5:30 to 9 p.m.  10 local artists will be displaying 64 different pieces at this show.  Participating artists include Dustin Schmidt, Anthony Mitchell, Damon Freed, Dane Stilfield, Dustin R. Mothersbaugh, Jenny Ragland Phillip C. Tindell, Billy Welch, Jason Martin, Nathan Naylor and Todd Kreisel.

Taking In the Sedalia Art Scene: Dustin Schmidt’s “Blue Collection” [PHOTOS]

I'm not an art critic.  As a matter of fact, the old saying "I don't know anything about art, but I know what I like" fits me very well. Yesterday (June 5) I had the opportunity to see an art exhibit at Liberty Center Association for the Arts. On display was artist Dustin M. Schmidt's "Blue Collection." Dustin is a local artist that works in acrylic paints.  He's also very fond of the color blue.  You can periodically see his pieces at the Daum Museum. He was kind enough to grant me permission to take a few photos of his work to show you here.
