Someone forgot to turn the calendar to late October. Warm southerly breezes will send the thermometer well into the 70s today and Saturday with locations south of the Missouri River likely seeing 80 which is more like mid-September weather. While cooler readings are expected on Sunday they'll still be above normal. As for Halloween, another warm surge with early evening temperatures for trick or treaters running in the lower 70s. Hope the candy bars don't melt.
