A unique health screening will take place at State Fair Community College that will help detect Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrom (SADS).

The SFCC Nursing And Athletic Departmens, along with Devon's Beat, will run these SADS tests at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on October 2 from 8 am until 4 pm and October 3 from 8 am until 4 pm.

These screenings will be $25, however the first 35 people to sign up will get a free screening, courtesy of funds raised from Devon's Beat.

In addition to the screenings the Roadrunners and Lady Roadrunners Basketball teams will be signing autographs and conducting open practices.

We had a chance recently to talk with Angela Parrott about Devon's Beat and these screenings. If you have any questions call Angela Parrott at 660-287-2888 or angelaparrott@embarqmail.com
