The State Fair Community College Roadrunners suffered their first lost of the season to Coffeyville in the Coffeyville Classic Saturday (November 21). Coffeyville won in overtime 106 to 99.

State Fair Community College was led by Ronnie Rausseau with 41 points, Joshua Bailey had 16, Willie Jimerson scored 13.

Coffeyville jumped out in the first half with a 45-32 lead, before SFCC mounted a 2nd half run and scored 56 points and held Coffeyville to 43. Coffeyville outscored SFCC 18-11 in the overtime.

The Roadrunners are 8-1 on the season. State Fair Community College Roadrunners will travel to take on St. Louis Community College Tuesday night at 7:30 and then will play Highland Community College-Illinois on Friday, November 27 at 3 pm and will have a rematch against Malcom X College Saturday, November 28 at 3pm.

The Lady Roadrunners traveled through some wintry conditions to Ellsworth, Iowa for the Dale Howard Classic on Friday and Saturday. The Lady Roadrunners won on Saturday over the host team Ellsworth 63-39. The Lady Roadunners are 10-1 on the season and also won a thriller Friday Night over North Iowa Area Community College 83-81.

The Lady Roadrunners next play in the Moberly Classic this Friday, November 27 versus Highland Community College-Illinois at 1 pm and Saturday, November 28 versus Rock Valley College at 1pm.

The Lady Roadrunners will be assisting the Boys & Girls Club of West Central Missouri on Monday, November 23 with Boys & Girls Club Night at El Tapatio from 5 til 9 pm. The Lady Roadrunners will also help serve meals at the St. Patrick Church on Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm.
