If today was going to be your day to go to the driver's license examination station, better look at your calendar and plan for another day.

According to a press release from the The Missouri State Highway Patrol, a friendly reminder that driver examination stations throughout the state will be closed Tuesday, May 8, in observence of Truman Day. Normal operations will resume on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

If you're looking at a date later in the month, scratch off Monday, May 28, as the office will also be closed in observence of Memorial Day. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
