Smoke Out Cancer with Bandana’s Barbecue Tonight

This is a great local way to support our fellow man while also enjoying delicious barbecue. It's a win win! Here's the story. On April 4 of this year, Bandana's chef  Chris "Wojo" Wojnarowski was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. His hope for a cancer free future requires a pricy, scary surgery at KU. He's staying positive for his little boys Brody and Dylan... but we know that doesn't always help pay the bills.  And anybody who has been touched by cancer knows it's not just surgery, it's the follow up treatments as well.  That stuff adds up quick, and it ain't cheap. He is to have a RPLND surgery soon to remove his entire infected lymphnode in order to prevent a relapse. The 6 hours surgery is going to put him out of work for a week and require 2-3 months of recovery.

So to help Chris and his family, Bandana's will be donating a big portion of their sales tonight towards help offset the costs of that surgery.  Come by and have lunch or dinner and know you're helping keep a wonderful light stay burning.
