It's a big night in Missouri for football in the West Central Conference as two of the premier undefeated teams in the area will square off.

Smith Cotton and Center High Schools are both 8-0 on the season. The winner of tonight's game will win the WCC title. Win or lose this evening, both teams will advance next week in to district play. At this time both teams are either sitting at the top or in second place in their respective district. The SC Tigers are currently sitting in the top district spot in Class 5, District 4 with Carthage at number two. Center HS is currently in second place behind Harrisonville in Class 4, District 6 rankings.

Depending on how they perform in the post-season, either team could wind up in a Missouri championship game over the weekend of November 27-28 at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Whatever the outcome of tonight's game, it's sure to be a hard fought, well-played game.
