Smith-Cotton High School's robotics team "Team SCREAM" has been awarded a $5,000 grant from NASA for the second year in a row. The grant goes toward Team SCREAM's registration fee for the FIRST Robotics Greater Kansas City Regional competition in March.

I think this is awesome. Hats off to the Smith-Cotton Robotics program. I don't know what kinds of things they're going to do at this competition, or what they're going to build, but I really hope it's Battlebots.

Remember Battlebots? It was a television show about robots that beat the crap out of each other. I feel like a Battlebots fight would be a great educational experience for everyone involved. Here's some Battlebots highlights to get Team SCREAM motivated!

Would would you like to see Team SCREAM's robot do?  Let us know in the comments!
