The Super Bowl is just days away. Most of the headlines consist of: can Seattle repeat, deflated balls, Tom Brady's man Uggs, anytime Rob Gronkowski talks, and Marshawn Lynch not talking. Let's have a little fun with the Super Bowl, I mean most fans in Missouri don't have much of a rooting interest in this one (let's be honest, they are both evil empires).
As you travel down Broadway here in Sedalia, you pass several houses that are lit up bright with Christmas lights and decorations. If you travel a bit further, you will see one house that isn't feeling the Christmas spirit at all, you may go as far as saying that the biggest Scrooge in America happens to live right here in Sedalia
With Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday being in the rear view mirror, many of you already have presents ready for Christmas Day. As a kid I remember searching the house up and down looking for any signs of Christmas presents
As I was passing by Jennie Jaynes Stadium the other week, I couldn't help but think about all the games that stadium has hosted and all the memories of everyone who has stepped on the field to play under the lights on a Friday night
I wish I would have brought some of the desert heat back with me, but it's good to be back! After eight long months of not being on the air due to a military deployment to Afghanistan, I am excited to say that I will be back on the air Monday (Nov 17)
When I signed my name on the dotted line for the United State Air Force, it confirmed that for the next six years, Uncle Sam owned me. At the time, I had no idea I would eventually have my own radio show. I also never thought the two worlds would merge. If you haven't heard by now, I will be deploying soon with the U.S. Air Force. My last day behind the mic will be March 7.
Major League Baseball Opening Day; sunshine, tailgating, hot dogs, beer, and the crack of the bat. We all wish we could take a day off and enjoy the MLB Opening Day, but instead, most of us are stuck at work. Now, former St. Louis Cardinal "The Wizard" Ozzie Smith has partnered with Budweiser to make Major League Baseball's Opening Day a national holiday.
Ever since Rob moved to Missouri and left his beloved Northern hockey loving region, I promised him that we would go to a Missouri Mavericks game. Last night (Feb. 26), I fulfilled my promise and I took Rob and Kevin Walker to their first every Missouri Mavericks game at the Independence Events Center.
