The National Weather Service and Warrensburg/Johnson County Emergency Management and Sedalia/Pettis County Emergency Management Agency tracked a tornado that landed yesterday (May 20).
Run For The Wall 2013 Rolls Through Concordia [PHOTOS]
The 2013 Run For the Wall came through Missouri yesterday (May 20). About 500 bikers made a pit stop in Concordia. The mission of these riders is to promote healing among all veterans and their family and friends and to call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing In Action. In addition, the motorcycle ride is to honor the memory of those Killed in Action from all wars and to show support of those currently serving.
Sedalia Police Investigation Results in False Social Media Reports of Missing Girl in Sedalia
There were several recent reports over social media that 10-year-old Nyla Talley is missing and was last seen at Shooter's Bowling Alley in Sedalia. The Sedalia Police Criminal Investigations Bureau says that this report is inaccurate.

The National Weather Service is predicting that severe weather could pick up this weekend, with a higher likelihood that bad weather will strike on Sunday night or Monday morning.
CPIFL Suspends Eight Players and a Coach Following On-Field Brawl in Omaha
The Champions Professional Indoor Football League (CPIFL) made a ruling in regards to an incident that happened in the Omaha Beef versus Lincoln Haymakers game on Saturday night (May 11). The Beef defeated the Haymakers 27-23, but there was a brawl that took place at the end of the game on the field. Eight players and one coach have been disciplined with suspensions ranging from 2-12 games. Names are being withheld in order to comply with employment privacy laws and confidentiality. All players and teams have the right to appeal the suspensions.
Mid-Missouri Outlaws Head to Sioux City This Weekend
The Mid-Missouri Outlaws will finish up their grueling three games versus the top three teams in the CPIFL this week. The Outlaws lost to the Wichita Wild 82-9 on Saturday, April 27, then lost to the Omaha Beef on the road on Sunday, May 5, 68-13. This week, the Outlaws travel to take on the Sioux City Bandits on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Bandits are currently tied for 3rd in the league with the Salina Bombers at 5-2.
Victory in Europe Day Remembered in Sedalia [PHOTOS]
May 8 is a significant day, although it may not be featured on every single calendar. It is the anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, or V-E Day. This is the anniversary of the end of hostilities during World War II in Europe, which ceased in 1945. The Sedalia VFW recognized and thanked World War II veterans for their service today (May 8).
Mid-Missouri Outlaws Deafeated by Omaha Beef
The Mid-Missouri Outlaws traveled to take on the Omaha Beef on Sunday afternoon (May 5) and lost 68-13. The Omaha Beef charged out to a 15 point lead before quarterback Damien Dunning was able to find Marcus James open for a 10-yard reception for a touchdown. The Beef proved why they are the co-leaders in the CPIFL by holding the Outlaws scoreless until 11:59 was left in the 4th quarter and scored 40 more points of their own during that time.
