Bothwell Lodge: Educational Outdoor Fun for Sedalians
May 22, 2013 2:46 PM Kids, this past weekend I got a real treat. I took some people I care about to the Bothwell Lodge. I figured this would be something we could talk about and share together, since everyone's always looking for fun things to do. And, this is an educational thing for you to do with kids that can also get them outdoors. Just about anything you can do to get kids off of their phones and tablets is good, right?
Sedalia’s Springtime Savings at Menard’s
May 21, 2013 10:15 AM Kids, last Friday I got to head out to Menard's and check out the very latest in their outdoor sales! They always look to help out Sedalians by lowering prices whenever they can, especially on all the stuff you'll need for the season.
So while I did spend most of my time ogling all the beautiful stuff in the Garden Center, I did wander the store a little bit, and took some pictures while I was at it!

May 20, 2013 3:39 PM Kids, we totally had a blast this weekend out at the Commercial Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds for the World's Largest Garage Sale. From the ladies up front to the vendors to the shoppers, all in in all it was a pretty amazing time!

While obviously the actual Memorial Day (May 27) is very important for remembering your deceased loved ones, the weekend is also well known as a big barbecue time.
I'm sure some of you will be living the life, grilling out on the deck, backyard or garage, sitting and talking with friends and family. But usually there's some music in the background, right?

May 9, 2013 4:09 PM Kids, admittedly around here I think we can get a little complacent. At least I can. Especially when it comes to your living situation.
I admittedly live in a duplex right now, and I'm probably paying too much in rent. I mean, from what I hear, you can pay a mortgage payment on a house for about what I pay in rent for a one bedroom half house thingy. But, I'm glad that's all I pay. After all, the poor jerks in the city, especially at our link for today, Worst Room, have it a lot, lot worse.
