SFCC Roadrunners on the Road this Weekend

Both the Lady's and Men's Roadrunners' basketball teams will be on the road as they travel to the St. Louis Metro on Saturday January 27.State Fair Community College is getting into the meat of the 2017-18 basketball schedule with two away games this weekend. The Roadrunners opponent for both games will be Mineral Area College.

The first game will pit the visiting Lady Roadrunners against the host Lady Cardinals. Both teams are tied with a 2-2 record in region play. The Cardinals have a slight edge with the overall record at 12-7 compared to the Roadunners 10-10 mark.

The second game of the evening will match two teams shooting for Region 16's top spot.

The Roadrunners go into the game tied for number two in Region 16 play with MSU-West Plains and in the number three spot overall in the rankings. The Cardinals are ranked both number four in the region and overall. The Roadrunners will enter the game with a 14-4 record and the Cardinals will have a slight edge overall with their 20-4 mark.

Both games can be heard on Newstalk 1050 KSIS. The Lady Roadrunners' game starts at 5:00 with the men's game starting at 7:00.
