Sedalia’s Weekend Events – Weekend of February 8

Here are our local events happening this weekend! 

The Liberty Center Association for the Arts will host its production of Tuesdays With Morrie, February 8-10, 2013.

The show runs one weekend only and will be dedicated to the memory of local journalist, Ron Jennings.  Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee will begin at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $12 each. A dedication and opening remarks in memory of Ron Jennings will be made by Bob Satnan, editor of the Sedalia Democrat, prior to each show. The Liberty Center invites you to make it a day of fun in historic downtown on February 9. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. various businesses will host a Chocolate Crawl, enjoy dinner at one of our many fine restaurants and end the day with the live performance of “Tuesdays with Morrie”.  Tickets are now available and can be purchased by calling (660) 826-2899.

The Trails Regional Library of Knob Noster is having its second annual Heart of Knob Noster event. 

This year they will host 27 craft vendors, prize drawings, carnival games for the kids and lunch of soup, chili, hot dogs and desserts.  Bring the family out for this exciting event and help support your local library.

The Community Blood Center will have their next blood drive on Tuesday, February 12.
