The Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Fish Fridays.

They will have baked and fried fish, fried potato wedges and homemade chips, mac and cheese, vegetables, cole slaw and corn bread from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Coffee, tea, lemonade and water included.  Homemade desserts by Sacred Heart Parents, for a free will donation.  Ticket prices are $9.50 for adults, and children 5-10 years of age are $5.  Tickets can be bought at the Rectory, Wine and More, Equity Bank, or McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.  Tickets are also available from Sacred Heart Senior parents, the Knights of Columbus, the Daughters of Isabella, and also at the door.  It’ll be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1708 Elm Hills Blvd, at the corner of Hwy 65 and Elm.

$5 Jewelry and accessories sale sponsored by the BRHC Auxiliary. 

Hours 7 am to 5:30 pm on March 7th and 7 am to 4 pm on March 8th. Checks, cash and credit cards are welcome. The public is encouraged to attend and support the Hospital Auxiliary.

The Sacred Heart Senior class is holding a huge multi-family sale on Saturday, March 9.

It’ll be held from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cafeteria, 416 West Third street.  Items for sale include a piano, motorcycle, bedroom suite, household items, interior home supplies, a treadmill, furniture, and clothing for all sizes.  Cash only.  This event will have proceeds going to the Senior Class Trip.

We have some really great young dogs completely vetted and ready for a loving home. If you want to see our animals available go to the website listed. It’ll be held at Orschelin Farm and Home on March 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Maplewood Church is hosting an evening of Bluegrass music.

Southern Raised is a family band from the Ozark area.  Applewood Christian School is raising funds for the 7th and 8th grade Boston trip by having a concession stand that night starting at 5:30 p.m.  Support them by buying supper in the kitchen, and then enjoy the concert.  The concert will be on Saturday, March 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m. and lasting til 8:30 p.m. at the ROC.  Admission to concert is free.
