The Sedalia Rotary Club will host their 24th annual auction to fund all their charitable endeavors on Friday evening (April 11) at the Best Western State Fair Motor Inn.

The Rotary supports many programs and projects here in our area.  They help out with the Community Cafe, scholarships for high school seniors and international projects like getting clean water in Panama, care for newborns in the country of Georgia and livestock for a retirement home in Belarus.  They also work tirelessly to try to end Polio all around the world by getting people vaccinated.

These great causes need your help, though!  The Sedalia Rotary is asking for that help with their auction.  They're going to have tons of great stuff, like Easter baskets and plenty of donations from local businesses.

I got to talk with Jennifer Langdon of State Farm about her involvement in the Rotary Club and what you can expect this Friday.

The Rotary Club Auction will be held at 7:00 p.m., but the doors open at 5:30 p.m. so you can get a good look at the silent auction items, and those start bidding at 6:30 p.m.  Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served, and tickets are only $10.  They can be purchased from any Rotary member or at the door.

Make sure you go on by to the Best Western State Fair Motor Inn on Friday April 11!  If you need more information, you can always keep up with them on their Facebook page.

Rotarily yours,

Behka
