Winter Reading is here!  The Sedalia Public Library has a new and interesting theme for their program, all to encourage kids to keep reading. It's called "The Mystery of Reading" and there are all sorts of mysteries to solve this year.  It's all to encourage preschool through 12th grade readers to participate.  The program starts this week and goes through February 17.  I got to talk with Amy Elvers, the Children's Librarian, about the program and the mysterious rewards.

Get signed up in the Children's Department, check out books from the Library, and start reading for a chance to win one of the four mysterious Grand Prizes. They've also got adapted programs for kids with reading difficulties, so don't despair if you think your child might not succeed. Call 826-1314 or visit sedalialibrary.com for more information.

Mysteriously yours,
Behka
