Sedalia Police Investigation Results in False Social Media Reports of Missing Girl in Sedalia

There were several recent reports over social media that 10-year-old Nyla Talley is missing and was last seen at Shooter's Bowling Alley in Sedalia. The Sedalia Police Criminal Investigations Bureau says that this report is inaccurate.

Shortly after the girl was reported missing to the Sedalia Police on May 18, an investigation revealed that Talley was picked up by her father and was safe. Sedalia Police said that no crime was committed and there is no further investigation being conducted since she has been accounted for and there is no reason to believe she is not safe.
