Sedalia Police were quite busy in the past 24 hours, with the following reports made public:

LaQuesha Monique Jamerson, 31, 1812 Barrett Ave, was arrested on a domestic assault charge, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon by Sedalia Police April 6. At 7:12 p.m., police were dispatched to 1812 Barrett on a report of an assault with a knife. Ofc. Smith located the suspect and arrested her. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges. The victim was not injured in the incident, police said.

On April 6, Sedalia Police were dispatched to Fav Trip, 216 W. Broadway, on a reported theft. The suspect reportedly stole a large, machete-style knife, valued at $39.99, from the store. The suspect ran from the store before police arrived. No suspects have been identified at this time.

Also on April 6, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Ware on a reported theft. In the past two weeks, someone stole the front license plates from a female victim's vehicle. The plate number is AG7-H7J, Missouri 2017.

Police responded to a disturbance call in the 1600 block of E. Broadway, involving a the driver of a trash truck reportedly assaulted by his son-in-law. The suspect left the scene prior to the police's arrival. Photos were later taken of the victim's injuries.

A stolen or missing wallet report was taken by police at Waterloo Industries on April 6. There are no suspects at this time.

Police arrested a subject at Probation and Parole, 205 Thompson Blvd., on a Pettis County Probation Violation. Summer J. Bennett, 36, Hughesville, was arrested on a $2,000 cash bond and a $2500 surety. No court date has yet been set.

James Lee Dillion Hoover, 19, Sedalia, was arrested by Sedalia Police on April 6 on a 24-hour hold for Failure to Appear on a Pettis County Warrant. A bond of $315 (cash only) was set with a court date of April 12.

Ashley N. Davis, 25, Sedalia, was arrested during a traffic stop near North Harding and East Boonville April 6 on a Failure to Appear misdemeanor out of Benton County. Bond was set at $2000 cash or surety.

Kaylea May Nicole, 22, Sedalia, was arrested in court on a Failure to Appear on a seatbelt violation out of Pettis County. A $10 cash only bond was set.

Linda Dee Mulcrone, 42, Sedalia, 1321 S. Kentucky, was arrested on a Failure to Appear upon arrest or summons April 6 during a traffic stop at Broadway and Osage. A May 4 court date was set with a $50 cash bond.

Dustin R. Johnson, 31, 809 Broadway, was arrested on a Failure to Appear misdemeanor during a traffic stop at 16th and Washington after he ran a stop sign at 16th and Ohio. He was arrested on two warrants out of Johnson County. A $200 bond was set. A court date has yet to be determined.

On April 6, John Dennis Clevelan Cardwell, 41, 2951 Marshall, was arrested by Sedalia Police after they observed his gray truck he was driving abruptly stop in the middle of Howard Street near E. Emmett Ave. Police discovered he was in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hold pending state charges.

Alvin Odell Brown, Jr., (homeless) was arrested by Sedalia Police for misusing 911 after Brown called police from 1703 E. Broadway. Police say there was no emergency, he was simply intoxicated.
