A maroon GMC with no license plates was stopped by Sedalia Police around 8 p.m. on September 16, and both the driver and a passenger were arrested on multiple drug-related charges.

Police say the stop took place near the intersection of S. Limit Ave. and W. 16th Street. The Sedalia Police Department's K9 unit was deployed, and alerted to the odor of narcotics, according to a police report. A search then led to the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging materials and drug paraphernalia.

34-year-old Travis J. Robertson and 33-year-old Tawnya Meyer, both of Branson, were arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
