Sedalia Police officers arrested a Sedalia woman in connection to a $35,000.00 theft.

The arrest stems from a theft report that was made to the Sedalia Police on June 17th, 2016. The Sedalia Girls Softball League reported that approximately $30,000. - $40,000. had been stolen from the League's checking account, over a period of two years.

After a lengthy investigation, Sedalia Detectives arrested 37-year old Daisy Mae Hoover, on July 26, 2016, in connection with the theft. Hoover was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. Charges of Felony Theft and Felony Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device, are being requested.

The approximate value of the theft is $35,000.00. There were no further details listed in that report.
