Sedalia PD’s “Tip a Cop” Fundraiser Coming to Applebee’s, Raises Money for Special Olympics

The Sedalia Police Department in conjunction with Applebee's will host a Tip A Cop fundraiser for Special Olympics Missouri on Wednesday, July 10 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Members of the Sedalia Police Department will work alongside the Applebee's wait staff all in an effort to raise money for Special Olympics Missouri.

All tips received during this time will help maintain year-round sporting events for the Central Area Special Olympic athletes.  The goal for the Sedalia Police Department is to promote acceptance and inclusion of all people with intellectual disabilities through 21 year-round events throughout the state. Besides the tips collected, the Sedalia Police Department will have Torch Run tee shirts, and Drive it Home tickets for the chance to win win a 2013 Dodge Challenger.
