There was a lot to do in Sedalia over the weekend.  The Art Festival downtown, Kids Fishing with a Vet/Hunting & Fishing Harry and the H.O.G. rally had events too.  At the end of the Bike Parade, the intersection of 5th and Ohio was roped off and became a beer garden. That's when Tyler Farr took the stage.

Downtown Sedalia was packed with bikers and local alike.  I think the only time I've seen more people around the courthouse is for the lighting of the Hotel Bothwell on Thanksgiving.  It was quickly understood that there were too many people to contain in the beer garden and no way to enforce the open container law for the evening.  I didn't see any incidents of any sort.  Everyone had a fun time and Tyler put on a GREAT show.

It is tons of fun to see a guy with local ties start making it as an artist.  Tyler Farr, a Columbia Records Artist, continues to grow as a performer and is better every time I see him.  He played a solid mixture of original music and songs that would be familiar to everyone.  He also played a good variety of rock and country and really connected with the audience.  He didn't put one song in the set that has always been one of my favorites.  Click the player below to here it.

All in all, it was a great show and a successful event for Sedalia.  Yes.  I think we should have more like it.  What do you think?  Comment below and please share!
