Sedalia Man Reportedly Damages Merchandise in a Fit of Rage

Just before 11 p.m. Sunday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Breaktime at 318 West Broadway on a disturbance involving a customer.

Upon arrival the complainant told the officers 21-year-old Willem D. Campbell damaged over $190 worth of merchandise in a fit of rage when the clerk couldn’t cash a check. Campbell had fled the area prior to the arrival of the officers, but was apprehended a short time later at 5th and Kentucky.

At the time of the police report, Campbell was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.
