Sedalia Man Arrested For Stealing Car Parts

Sedalia Police say they arrested a 39-year-old man who is accused of stealing parts from a car on the lot of Road Runner Auto Sales.

Police were dispatched to the scene on November 15 and obtained a description of the suspect's vehicle from a witness. A vehicle matching that description was found inside a car wash bay on East Broadway. Police say they found the missing cart parts in the vehicle, and report that the witness identified the suspect as the person that had been taking the parts from the Road Runner lot.

Jeremy Jason Sleeper of Sedalia was taken into custody for Stealing Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories and Tampering With a Motor Vehicle. Sleeper was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail, pending the filing of formal charges.
