Sedalia Man Arrested for Child Sex Crimes

Sedalia Police arrested a 55-year old man on Wednesday (July 19) after he allegedly admitted to engaging in sex acts with a child.

According to the report, a forensic interview was conducted at Child Safe, where the juvenile victim made a full and complete disclosure.

The suspect, 55-year old Quintin L. Long, of Sedalia, was located at his place of employment. The report indicates that Long went to the Sedalia Police Department to voluntarily speak with authorities.

During the interview, Long allegedly admitted to engaging in sex acts with the child.

According to the report, Long was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, for 2nd Degree Statutory Sodomy and 4th Degree Child Molestation.
