Sedalia Food Fair Showcases Pettis County's Finest Restaurants

The Sedalia Food Fair is coming up on Tuesday evening (Oct. 22). This is one of those things that I think a lot of us in Sedalia really look forward to every year.

There's a saying I've heard around our area that goes something like this: "Sedalia's got a church and a restaurant on every corner." I think part of why that rings true is because Sedalia really is a foodie kind of town. We love all sorts of different eats, from the most down home to the most exotic dishes. When a friend comes to town that isn't familiar with Sedalia, there's always an impressive list of all the places we could go for a nice dinner.

The Taste of Sedalia evening is one of the better treats for all of us, in that we get to visit a lot of these great establishments in one night, all under one roof. I got to talk with one of the organizers, Debbie Andersen, about what is going to be out on the fairgrounds tomorrow.

So don't miss out on your chance to enjoy the The Sedalia Food Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 22.The event will be held on the Missouri State Fairgrounds in the Agriculture Building. Tickets are $10 each in advance and then at the door the price is $12. Tickets are available at the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce (inside the Katy Depot) at 600 East Third Street, or the Missouri State Fairgrounds from 9:00 to 3:00 in the Ag Building. The event is hosted by the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce.
