After losing a close slugfest Tuesday against the Nevada Griffons, the 2016 MINK League champion Sedalia Bombers lived up to their name Wednesday night as they downed the Jefferson City Renegades, 13-3.

Andrew Warner and Dalton Horstmeier collected four RBI’S each for Sedalia.

The latest stats on the MINK league's website has Warner tied for the top spot in HR's with three dingers. Horstmeier leads the league with two other MINK league players with 15 RBI's.

The Bombers, 4-5, are on the road tonight in Joplin. Currently, Sedalia is 1.5 games behind the North Division league leading Chillicothe Mudcats.

After five games on the road including a double header against the Ozark Generals on Wednesday June 21, the next home game for the Bombers will be the next day as they host Chillicothe for a single game at historic Liberty Park Stadium.
