Sedalia Animal Shelter to Close for 3 Days Next Week as Staff Prepares to Move to New Location

According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department, the animal shelter on West Main Street will be closed from October 25th-27th, as they move to the new animal shelter, located at 2420 South New York Avenue.

The new animal shelter will open on Friday, October 28th, at 11:00 a.m.

Animal Control will still perform their pick-up duties, during the three day closure. However, no adoption services will be available during that time. Full shelter services will begin on October 28th, according to the press release.
