On 10/13/2015 at approximately 0630 hrs Officers of the Sedalia Police Department served a drug related search warrant at 1613 E 4th ST. Upon arrival one suspect was detained for the investigation and later a second suspect arrived and was also detained. A juvenile was present at the scene upon arrival and family was contacted to take custody.

A search of the residence revealed multiple small quantity bags of marijuana, digital scales, packaging material and other drug paraphernalia. On scene interviews were conducted with the suspects. At the conclusion of the investigation the evidence was collected and two subjects were transported to the Pettis County Jail.

The suspects and their charges are as follows:
William Kabler, 46 years old of Sedalia:

Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana (Felony)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Unlawful Transaction with a Child

Leigha Kabler, 55 years old of Sedalia:

Possession of Marijuana (Misdemeanor)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
