Royals Owner is Thankful Zack Greinke Wanted Out of Kansas City

For those of you that follow the Royals...I mean the true Royals fans, you've seen the tough years, the ones that totally sucked, and the ones where you couldn't shout any louder because of their winning spirit. Here's something you probably never thought of or had forgotten about your boys in blue.

Zack Grienke, thank you. We can't thank you enough. We should be sending you flowers and cards on your birthday, and on any and every occasion possible to to do such. If it wasn't for you wanting to get out of KC and go to another winning club, (how's that working for you?) the Royals probably wouldn't have the pieces of the puzzle that have propelled them into the World Series these last two years.

In an article in the LA Times with Royals' owner, David Glass, he thanks Greinke for wanting the trade that would put this and last year's ALCS MVP's in Kansas City.
