Rob's Off the Trail Tracks - 'Let’s Do Something Tonight'

The new albums keep coming out, and so do the Off the Trail Tracks! This week we have another brand new release, the Eli Young Band’s ’10,000 Towns’ which came out just last week. Currently sitting at number one on the country albums charts and at number five on the Billboard Top 200, it’s a pretty solid record in my opinion. I’m not even a huge fan of that pop/country mix sound that the Eli Young Band has, but for what it is, I think it’s pretty good.

You’ve doubtless heard the album’s first single and top three hit ‘Drunk Last Night’ already, but for our Off the Trail Track, we need something that probably won’t make it to radio. I’ve selected the fifth track from ’10,000 Towns,’ ‘Let’s Do Something Tonight.’ It’s a song about wanting to go out and spend a night making good memories, with a great flow and vocals.
