Red Light Music Series Returns to Dickie Doo BBQ This Week [INTERVIEW]
The Red Light Music Series is grassroots effort to promote local-area musicians and their original works. It happens once a month and the next one will be held Wednesday (February 12) at Dickie Doo BBQ.
The Red Light Music Series show will be from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and they’ll have several performers that night, including opening act Bunkhouse Gang, Vagabound out of Warsaw, and Sedalia artist Travis DeMoss. This is a great chance for you to see some live, local artists doing their own original material. You’re not only supporting local music, you’re also supporting a great local venue: the legendary Dickie Doo BBQ.
I got to talk with James Bryant, the founder of the series, to tell us about what’s in store for tonight.
Definitely don’t miss our on your chance to see some great local talent playing their hearts out at a Sedalia institution. Again, it’ll be February 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Dickie Doo, 4860 S. Limit.
