Reba McEntire will be named the very first Nash Icon during the inaugural American Country Countdown Awards later this month. Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert will team up to pay tribute to the legend before Kix Brooks presents the award.

McEntire is the first (and officially, only) artist on the Nash Icon Music record label, so it’s fitting that she was chosen for the honor. In a press release, the show’s executive producer said the annual award will go to an artist that has made a lasting impact on country music.

Lambert and Clarkson will perform some of McEntire's classic hits during the live broadcast of the ACC Awards. The show will air from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena beginning at 8PM ET on Dec. 15. Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are set to host the FOX awards show.

Last month, McEntire announced she’d signed with Nash Icon Music, a joint-venture between Cumulus Media and the Big Machine Label Group. Ronnie Dunn revealed he’s the second artist to sign, but the label has not commented on that.

In addition to Lambert and FGL, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Brett Eldredge will all perform during the broadcast. Luke Bryan leads all nominees with seven nominations.
