According to Pettis County Emergency Management Agency Director Dave Clippert, "You heard it rain all night, some very heavy rain to be exact. We have had numerous roads that have flooded. It looks as if we have had well over 6 -7 inches in many parts of the county, and some areas could have had 10 inches. Use caution while driving this morning. Do not drive through flooded roads. Rain will continue for quite awhile expecting rainfall rates of around 2 inches an hour. This is going to make many roads unpassable especially those that are in low lying areas. Turn Around Don't Drown."
