Police Respond to Possible Burglary, Sedalia Man Arrested
A Sedalia man was arrested around 11:12 p.m. on July 30 after police were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 900 block of W. 11th St.
Police say 33-year-old David Batzel was found behind a house with a crowbar. After an investigation, Batzel was taken into custody on charges of first degree misdemeanor trespassing and felony possession of burglary tools.
Batzel was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
