On Saturday, around 11:30pm, a traffic stop was conducted on West Broadway and Thompson Avenue. The driver was pulled over for having no license plates. After running the driver's information through disptach, it was relvelaed that he had a suspended license out of Missouri. The driver was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked and released. He is being charged with driving while suspended.

On Saturday evening around 8:00, a theft was reported at Walmart. Managment stated that a man attempted to conceal items in a bag without paying for them. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with bond set at $533.50.

On Monday, at the intersection of 5th and Ohio, police observed a subject driving a motorcycle, who appeared to be intoxicated. The officer conducted a field sobriety test and determined that the rider was indeed intoxicated. The driver was arrested for DWI and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24 hour hold.

Yesterday, around 10:00pm, in the 600 block of West Broadway, police investigaed a theft report. The female victim said an unknown amount of prescription medication was taken from the residence. The investigation is on-going....

Also, yesterday, around 8:30 in the evening, there was a report of a theft at Walmart. Two female subjects were seen shoplifting. Asset Protection had the subjects in the office and said they were placing items in a purse. Both suspects were taken into police custody. One suspect is a juvenile and was released to juvenile authorities. The adult was taken to jail for shoplifting and endangering the welfare of a child.

Also, yesterday evening, around 6:30, in the 1600 block of South Barrett, police took a report of an accident. Officers were told by the female victim that the accident happened elsewhere. The reporting party stated the accident may have occurred while she was at work at Applebees. The right bumber of the vehicle had been damaged and no dollar value was placed on the damage.

On Saturday, around 6:30 in the evening, at the Katy Park Skate Park, there was a reported theft of a scooter. The victim said someone had taken his push scooter between 6 and 6:30 that evening. The value of the scooter was placed at $400.00 and there are no suspects at this time.

On Sunday evening, around 10:00, in the 700 block of East 4th Street, a victim stated that his front license plates had been stolen from his vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.

On Saturday, around 9:15 that evening, in the 300 block of West 10th Street, officers took a report of a burglary. The victim stated that someone has entered his apartment and taken $600.00 worth of belongings, including game consoles and prescription pills.

Last Friday, deputies took a report of items stolen in the 27000 block of Worth Road in Sedalia.
Yesterday, deputies took a report of property damage in the 700 block of McVey Road.
Also, yesterday, deputies took a report of property damage in the area of the 22000 block of Dorrance Road in Pettis County. The victim reported to deputies that an unknown person had caused damage to a barn on her property by painting words on three sides with red paint.
