Police Arrest Sedalia Man For Possession of Methamphetamine

A man with two active Sedalia Police Department warrants was arrested on Thursday afternoon. During the arrest, police discovered a bag containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Sedalia Police say that 50-year-old Miguel Zaragoza was riding a bicycle when he was stopped in the area of West Main and North Missouri. According to police, a field test on the substance showed a positive result for methamphetamine.

Zaragoza was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. Charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) are being sought.
