Ag Appreciation Banquet: Enjoy Pie for a Good Cause!

Kids, I don't know about you, but my considerable midsection is proof positive that I'm a fan of pie.  Now you get to enjoy some pie, some friendly competition and also some great company for a wonderful cause. 

So why not join in on the Ag Appreciation Banquet?  It's going to be held on Jan. 26 in a place that holds many a fond memory for me from the Missouri State Fair: The Pork Place.  So you'll have plenty of seating and a nice, warm atmosphere.

The whole happy hour and socializing starts at 6 p.m., and then the actual dinner begins at 6:30. I think you know that if anybody knows how to feed a group, it's some farmers.  Then after the dinner starts to wind down, the real excitement will begin.

Pies, pies, pies.  Homemade pies by the best of the best will be available for you to bid on.  The pie auction not only helps out the Central Missouri Agriculture Club, but it helps your pallet with tasty goodness.  They're still taking entries for the contest, too. So if you think you've got what it....TASTES (little joke there), why not enter?
