Dan Bridges, an ambassador for Runwell: The Linda Quirk Foundation, presented a grant check on Dec. 31 in the amount of $1,000 to Erica Cox, Chief Juvenile Officer for the Pettis County Juvenile Drug Court.

Runwell: The Linda Quirk Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for treatment centers across the US and globally, while promoting physical activity as an important aspect of an overall recovery program.

The Pettis County Juvenile Drug Court will use the funds for incentives that encourage participants that are excelling in the program to continue to do well.

Runwell’s West Central Missouri chapter is actively seeking participants to raise funds for both treatment centers and Drug Courts throughout the state and has plans for running in the North Face Endurance Challenge in Wisconsin as well as the New York Marathon in 2016.
