On February 16, deputies from the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and Detectives from the Sedalia Police Department served a search warrant at a local business located at 809 South Marshall Avenue, in connection to an ongoing burglary investigation. Seized from the business were firearms, marijuana, several grams of methamphetamine, jewelry, coins, and stamps.

As a result of the search, four subjects were taken into custody:

37-year-old Roger Wayne Green Sr. of Sedalia. He was charged with burglary in the second degree, receiving stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance. The total bond for Mr. Green was $15,000.00.

25-year-old Jeffrey Caleb Rhoads, of Smithton, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,000.00.

29-year-old Mykala Shai Jones, of Warsaw, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,000.00.

43-year-old Randy Lee Thomas, of Sedalia, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,000.00.

All subjects are being held in the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of formal charges. Additional charges are pending and the investigation is considered open and active.
